Seems Newegg site is having some issues. So if link doesn't work for you, try back in a bit.

Someone who knows about panels should speak up so we know if this is worth or not

Seems like a nice monitor. IPS, 4K, Freesync. What's the downside, other than Acer.
I think it's a VA panel, rather than IPS.

Def. not IPS. If it was it would be sold out in a heartbeat.

I bought this back in November or December when it was $343 or so. Search on here for that thread and for the ~$380 thread from November as well.

I returned it. 32" is too big for this panel tech. Color reproduction isn't good enough for such a large screen. It did have wow factor upon setup, but a couple days later and I was ready to go back to my IPS screens.

I bought an LG 24" IPS 4k since then, and it is glorious. Wasteful for actually making use of it all, but with 150% scaling, text is great. And what I like most about the high PPI is that there is no screen door effect. Games are great too with no need for AA or supersampling.

Overall, my recommendation if getting a desktop monitor for gaming and computer text use is to get a 24-27" IPS screen with the highest PPI you can afford. Skip anything that is VA or TN.
I'm not sure I agree with that. I recently bought this..

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...6824025172

and am extremely impressed with the panel. I use various 30-32 inch IPS panels all day in the few offices I have at work and other than some contrast shift at angles, the text renders very well at 120% scaling for it having a so-so ppi. I bump up multiple windows, IDEs, docs, videos, etc dont have the space for a second monitor at home, so I need the extra screen real estate. It was recently on sale for $399. I upgraded from this:

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...6824009659

which overall was so-so at best.

Monoprice has their 32" 4k IPS panel for $375 with coupon. They also have a zero dead pixel policy. Newegg requires 8 dead pixels for a return and is pretty bad to deal with on these issues.

There are a number of them on their website. Also, Monoprice is great on returns if you do not like it.

First post, beek multi-year lurker. I bought this back in November for around $369 from newegg, got 2. No dead pixels, needs some tweaking (search for the other post for this product and there's some links for tips on tuning), but I'm very satisfied.

I use it for video editing/excel/youtube/general browsing and trading, very clear at 100% magnification (I wish it was a little bigger so I don't have to sit close) and is quite accurate. I don't play games or movies so can't speak to color/response performance but for what it costs for amateurs, it's close enough.

Also got the price match when prices fell for BF. Went for $290 during bf, prob will go lower but price protection is your friend when that happens.

Could you provide the coupon information?
