The good thing about this is that Atom lets you prepay for concession items (popcorn, drinks, snacks, etc) so you'd also be getting those things discounted.

Combine with Discover 5% cashback for the quarter!

Hmm, a tough one. With 5% cash back at Discover, that's a 28.75% discount. However, Atom services fewer theaters than Fandango where I am (including not servicing my most local, convenient theater), and usually T-Mobile gives out free Atom Tickets. I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't end up using all $100 in a year without going out of my way.

With Fandango, I can buy gift cards usually for about a 20-25% discount...

I don't know if it will be that price again. That ended pretty quick and then was showing the current price. I'm not sure if that was an error or if it was just an initial orice to get people interested since it was new to Costco.

Atom seems to run a lot more deals for movies (BOGO, discounts, etc.) I think. I'm not sure if that's just for now since they're trying to lure people from Fandango. If you have T-Mobile Tuesday buying these is a no brainer, T-Mobile Tuesday has been offering discounted ticket purchases through Atom every now and then (granted, it's for specific movies so you have to want to watch that movie) and they never expire (unless they go bankrupt quickly).

$65 price was a discounted offer ($10 coupon)...as most Costco shoppers know, Costco has a lot of coupons...sometimes even gift cards (who can forget the 50% off Godiva cards 10 years back!).

25% off movies is great, and some theaters let you buy concessions through app. Combine with most rewards programs, and tickets, especially matinees, can be under $5/ticket.

I like Atom better than Fandango...used it the other day out in Temecula (soccer tourney)...line at AMC was about 100 people long, and was able to buy in about 45 seconds and skip the line.

I found them on $3.74 dvds a few weeks ago and bought 6. I haven't found them again. Should have bought more.

True, but even with movie pass you have to pay for Imax so might as well get 25% off.

Moviepass stinks where I live as it only applies to the 1 old crappy theater and not the 2 luxury reserved seating theaters that we prefer.

Thank you OP!
Perfect timing as I was about to spend a fortune on tickets for the family to see Black Panther this weekend and I couldn't find any discounts.
Rep given! :-)
