I've never seen a moldy one, but I won't be buying again because they are individually cut and folded. They don't pop up the next wipe so you have to dig for it. When wiping the baby, every second counts!

I see a couple of people buckets here:

- The ones complaining on the smell:
-- To these people, let me tell you, it could definitely be potassium sorbate smell (ironically used to inhibit mold growth), but granted that I have used potassium sorbate before (DIY cider stuff), I would say that the strongest smell is definitely the plant based additives, and not from the hint of potassium sorbate that I can sniff from it.
-- You are of course entitled to dislike the smell, and be vocal about it, but I would discourage you from saying it is a "harsh chemical smell", it is not.
-- Go ahead and buy some Chamomile tea (ingredient in these wipes), or real mint leaf, or unripe banana skin, or lime skin, and give it a smell directly under the nose with a cut exposing all of the smell, it might kick you back a little bit if you are not used to it. That's exactly what you get from these wipes, plant based stuff has a STRONG smell.
-- Ingredients listed here in the ingredients option, all plant based, NO harsh chemicals used:
https://babyganics.com/products/f...ce-free-1/

- To the people that don't mind the smell:
-- I have tried actual chemically filled wipes and these dry and irritate my skin
-- These babyganic wipes do not dry my skin and the smell is not that bad to me, at least I'm smelling something real and not a chemical fragrance or deodorant mixed in it to hide to smell of all the other chemicals.
-- The plant oil moisturizers must be working because I feel less of a sting in my face after using them, compared to other (almost as expensive) wipes.
-- These are almost always more expensive than other wipe brands, but they are definitely worth it.
-- I once left a pack of babyganic wipes inside the car for a couple of days, it got hot during the day, found them (and used) days later, and they did not grow mold in them, but that is just an isolated sample, can't speak for all other wipe packs out there.

Your price comes with the 15% subscription discount. At 5%, however, the total should be $8.65 pre-tax.

Been using these for 2.5 years with my son and never have found a moldy one. Always bought the multipacks and lived in humid areas (don't know if this matters).

18% 1 star reviews scare me

Was there just a bad batch at some point that affected a bunch of people?

I bought these last deal for the same count. I don't know if that's the smell o "Organic" or "scent-free", but couldn't stand it and have to wipe my baby face with it. I gave them away...
