I paid 1400 a year ago for this. It stands good price Imo. Still use it everyday, mainly for work. Love it.
Definitely not a gaming machine but it still will run some games on lower settings, when I have some time to kill.
I use it mainly with office, but PS and illustrator etc. also shine on it. Especially in tablet mode and with the pen.
Things I hate about it: charging. Alright a charge usually gets me through most of the day, I'd love if it had usb-c charging. Alas, it uses proprietary brick. Even though it is not huge, I still keep it with me. Have one at home, one at work and one I carry around in my backpack in case of emergency. On the plus side, it had USB port on the brick, so I don't need to carry separate phone charger.
That's at least my experience with it.

Ah gotcha, I was going by the "Microsoft" hyperlink above the product name. Universal goods reviews seem good. Are amazon reviews on weird companies not trustworthy? I'm considering buying this for the GF.

As long as it's "prime" it has amazon's return policy, so ultimately, it's risk free.

The 3rd party sellers you want to avoid are the ones that aren't prime/fulfilled by amazon.
