Release is still a long time away, but if you know for sure you want it, this is one of the few sales you'd find.

Doesn't amazon prime still give 10% discount on preorders?

I did receive 20% when I pre-order street fighter 5. This is a better deal given the no tax.

I am super excited for this game. Loved the first one. But would not consider preordering. The release date has already been pushed back months. Who's to say it won't happen again? I'd rather have my money until the game is actually here.

There is always an issue with preordering games, on a basic fundamental level. That said, rockstar would not fudge this up so go with God my guy
Online priority and micro transactions. Look where the profits for Take Two on GTA5 came from.

Man that is a lot of downvotes, great looking game and a discount at launch. Not much to complain about. GTA V had a great long single player campaign and the microtransactions hit when you played online.... I hardly played that game online. The main game was great.

They may as well give the single player game away free. Idiots will be spending bank in online from day one.

God can you imagine how big the world in this game is going to be?

You will get it eventually, so unless you wait for a year or more you will still pay full price, so might as well get some of the goodies already

Honestly I don't expect it to be bigger than the GTA 5 map. In GTA you're driving in cars that go really fast, in RDR it's all horseback.

yup, given their 6$ billion dollar micro-transaction monster... everything should be free to play, and rely on their micro-transactions, dipshits in games with money to burn will spend money on absolutely everything just to have it first. then throw youtubers in the mix, dropping 1000s into online items for their people to make videos doing silly crap... it's a win, win, win for Rockstar.

pretty damn amazing.

i usually hate micro-transactions, but if their single player campaigns stay as good as they always have been... i could care less. i don't play GTA5 online, i did a bit but it got boring and there are too many other stories to play out there.
