Last year it wasn't, but last year they also had trade in bonuses on lenses.

$2398?!? It better come with a "money tree!" I think a Canon T71 at $649 is a LOT!?! In fact....waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much for me. Looks like my Canon T3I will be it for life!
might as well keep using your phone's camera...

The T3i is a good little camera still (7 years old already!)--but it's not even close to being in the same league as any of the full-frame Sony cameras listed in this deal.

Don't have a phone camera. At 69....a simple trac-phone is enough for me!

My photography is a hobby....not my life. As life goes along health problems accur that cuts down on my walking/picture taking. I'm down to 2-3 trips a year with my camera. No need to spend a ton of $$$ on something I use less than 2 weeks a year. At 29 maybe....but at 69...no way.

Still waiting for the a6500 deals . . . Either what we saw last November or better (body at $1200, Sigma 30mm bundle at $1369). Here's to hoping!

Factor in lens prices and sizes everyone. Saving $200-300 on the body doesn't make up for the fact that Sony's lenses are often 30% more than Canon or Nikon. Then factor in the size of the lenses. If you're looking at 1.4 the Sony lenses are massive with prices to match. While not optically similar, you can still get affordable 1.4 lenses or Canon/Nikon while on Sony you're looking at $1k+

Sony also has a nasty habit or updating cameras with mk2,3,4 etc relatively often making your new camera outdated pretty quickly.
