It always makes me laugh when SlickDeals blocks cash back sites and external links for coupons etc. It's not like they're replicating the deal and losing out. Clearly not everyone is on the same team around here when it comes to their users saving money.

SD should give shoppers cash back. Problem solved. However, that day is not happening any time soon given the questionable rebate processed by SD and complaints by members here.

I've never done it, but here is their coupon page. I don't know if it'll work for online orders, but you can try. http://coupons.target.com/

It makes me laugh more when the OP can't do math and subtracts the free gift card out of the original purchase. Gift cards you get free with the purchase can't be used in the same purchase dummy. Lol
It makes me even more laugh when someone makes a false assumption and criticizes a poster. The calculation was to show people what the net cost would be, dummy. To assume otherwise says more about you LOL (in case you fail to understand this too, the fact that you needed that to be explained says something about your comprehension).

I don't see anywhere where it says net cost. $2.89 x 4 = $11.56 + free $5 GC. How are you able to use the gift card In the same transaction?

Seems pretty clear to me what he meant, and you obviously figured it out as well. The way OP did it is pretty much the norm on SD, so not sure why you're picking a fight with him. Thanks OP, keep up the good work!

The point is, I shouldn't have to because it's so obvious lol. I also didn't write anywhere that you can use the gift card in the transaction, did I? You've been on SD for as long as you have, and yet you don't get something this simple? Wow.

Thank you, veeRob. I appreciate that. I guess some people just enjoy nitpicking every chance they get. Oh well. The rest of us can move on Smilie
