Not a slick deal but at least 1080 ti can be obtained for MSRP for whoever needs it.

I'm not sure what to do. (Looking for advice). The 2080s should be out in the next few months, so I wait? Will the price of Cryptos keep crashing? (So their will be a flood of cards?). I really want a 5 or so year future proof card for 4K gaming at 60fps

I also gave you a rep point, thanks for the post.

Thanks, will 2080 be out for sure within next few months?
I also heard that since there isn't really competition for Nvidia they may delay the release?

With the recent issues with supply, and talking to vendors they're saying the amount of chips coming from Nvidia has dropped. I was told that the production drop happens every time they're ramping up production of the new chipset. (The 2080 chips have been in production for months, same with the cards they're going in.) So hopefully the drop is due to what I'm hearing from the suppliers.

Nvidia will control the price on the 2080 and make people pay dearly for them. Ram is also st a shortage. At current prices I could see a base 2080 go for 999 and a 2080 ti hit at least 1200+. They have no reason to compete with themselves.

The ram was just made available (google news on gddr6), and Nvidia could launch in May/June like they did last time around; but Nvidia does have a reputation for lagging when there isn't a real threat, and the 1080 Ti still takes the crown by a healthy margin in the "enthusiast" department -- nevermind the Titan Xp. Last estimates calculate 20xx in late 2017, early 2018, and it seems about right. As usually the case, Nvidia will let AMD feel like they accomplished something big, then they'll shove them out of the way by introducing something 10% better, but with wayyy better power efficiency.

Personally jumped on a 1080Ti last week, and plan to mine with it until it's half-paid off. From there I'll enjoy it until 20xx comes out, sell, and upgrade. EVGA btw has a transferable warranty. EVGA stock does come in from time to time. You just have to setup notifications and be ready to checkout within 5 minutes. Only down side with EVGA is they just increased their prices ever slightly, on top of having done it previously. I purchased a 1080Ti for $790, now they want $850 xD I can't blame them. I think originally it was released at $750.
