Green Man Gaming has 10% off on select PS4 titles. These are digital downloads, which usually don't get discounted and programs like Best Buy GCU does not apply.

It is also tax free for me (Texas), unsure if YMMV for tax free.

It's a code that was included with the last PS weekly newsletter ("What's New this Week"). It's hit or miss in terms of receiving this code as you need to be opted in to marketing through your PS account and even then some members report that they never get these codes included in the newsletter they receive or just don't get an email at all from PS.

Just curious, why do people love digital so much? Can't lose the disc? Don't have to change the disc?

I am genuinely curious, because for me, not clogging up my HD is nice, and I usually play, then trade/sell the game. If it has strong replay value, I will usually rebuy it when it gets a ton cheaper again.

This gen the discs are only keys once you install a game. The game install is there same for digital and disc. For me, I like being able to switch games on the fly.

Not having to change discs is much appreciated, but yeah overall I'm still all for discs since they tend to be cheaper and much faster to install.

I can put it on both of my PS4 Pros so now my brother can play the same game at the same time (ex.Monster Hunter world). Two for the price of one Smilie

Yup same reason why I go digital for multiplayer games. Have my brother's PS4 act as the primary PS4 for my account, and we can play together. He even uses/shares my PS+ membership this way.

I thought only the primary PS4 can download and play games. So if I want to share my digital games with a family member, I just have to share my PSN login?

No to the first sentence, yep to the second initially (and have your family member's PS4 activated as your account's primary PS4).

So any PS4 with your login account can download and play the games, provided that you're logged in on that account. Basically I could head over to your house and login to my account on your PS4 and download/play my games. However, any other users on the PS4 (let's say we switch to your user and account) won't be able to play the games though (it'll be downloaded but it'll appear locked and won't open). However, that goes out the window on the primary activated PS4, where any other users/accounts can play the games. So once we go into the settings and enable your PS4 to be my account's primary PS4, we can then switch to your user/account and you can play my games.

My brother's PS4 is the primary activated PS4 for my account and he can play Monster Hunter on his account simultaneously with me logged into my account on my PS4 (that's not activated as the primary).

We basically just swapped and have each other's PS4s activated as the primary, so whenever he buys games, I can play them on my account and PS4, and vice versa.

This whole gamesharing thing was even more lax with the PS3, where at one point you could have 5 PS3s share but then Sony cut it down. I've heard of people using this method [nextgenupdate.com] and selling off their shared games/accounts on eBay for a quick buck.

Or you trade consoles and you always have access to each others games

My sons is in my media room and mine is in his room

We do that with both the pro and xb1 so we both can share all digital games and play online together

So his primary consoles and my primary consoles are swapped. He logs in with his acct on my primary and has access to all of my and his own games

I login to his primary console with my acct and i have access to his games and all mine

Plus only 1 psn / live acct needed that way too. He has all the cloud accounts but i can use them on his primary consoles in my room

He still gets all his network privileges when using my primary consoles (that have no paid network accounts) even when he logs into mine

No meed to know each others logins
