PSA T-mobile customers: Transfer/Sell your TMUS share before 02/12 if your FolioFirst acct is still open

FolioFirst will charge $15/year maintenance fee on 02/12 if u have not done the $5/month option regarding the free TMUS stock we all got.

Completely forgot about this after my Stockpile transfer failed last Fall for some unknown reason so the Loyal3/FolioFirst acct was still open all this time. OMG
Just initiated a transfer to Robinhood, hopefully this goes thru this time before 02/12

Your acct will automatically close when u no longer have any securities in it.

As you know, your T-Mobile Rewards brokerage account was transferred to FolioFirst from LOYAL3 this past May. At FolioFirst, we offer a smarter way to invest and we hope that in 2018 you'll take full advantage of all we offer by unlocking the brokerage features of your account.

Remember, you can do this by simply buying or selling a security, and you'll receive all the great benefits of FolioFirst's smarter investing – for just $5 per month! These benefits include:

Commission-free trading in over 200 stocks and ETFs
Multiple accounts — all included in the $5 monthly fee — open as many additional accounts as you need — like an IRA1 for yourself, a custodial account for a minor, or a joint account with your spouse
Fractional-share trading…so you can buy partial shares of available stocks with as little as $25, no matter the price of a whole share
An easy-to-use website that works perfectly on any screen — desktop, tablet, or mobile
Robust investor tools to track your account's performance and monitor your portfolio anytime
FDIC or SIPC protection for the cash in your account

Please remember that if you do not choose to unlock your account's brokerage features prior to billing, scheduled for February 12, 2018, you will be charged a $15 annual maintenance fee. This fee covers the cost of servicing your account and providing applicable tax reporting.

Again, you can avoid the $15 annual fee by just buying or selling a security prior to billing.

If you don't want to stay with us, you can close your FolioFirst account by selling your holdings and transferring the proceeds to a linked bank account, or by transferring all your holdings to another brokerage before February 12, 2018. In that case, you also won't be charged the annual account fee. Other transfer fees may apply.

Thanks for the heads up!

I tried transferring it to RobinHood months ago and just now realized it didn't go through. I'm not sure if you CAN transfer it to RH.

Transfer fee is $100, if you sell they will also charge you $15, if you don't touch it they also charge you $15. There is just no way to do anything without any fee, feefolio is a garbage provider.

Transfer charges fee ($100 for full account transfer), I don't know the point why you do transfer than selling it...

How did you get RobinHood to recognize FolioFirst? I set up the account, installed the app, tried to find FolioFirst, but it acts like it doesn't know who they are.

I went back and checked my transaction. It was actually with loyal3 broker, before they moved to this one. It may not work this, no idea. Mine was back in May 22nd 2017
