Thanks. I had purchased this, for more money, previously and couldn't remember if it was 180 or not.

With all these sales lately what I really need is a new record crate. Any recommendations?

Not true whatsoever. Listen to Freaky Styley, Mother's Milk, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Californication, By the Way, and The Getaway. They sound nothing alike.

Hey, as long as it's anything before Californication, I'll be happy.

The plastic one from Wal-Mart is flimsy trash ( it torques and buckles less than 1/2 full).
The wooden one at Home Depot and most major big box stores has slats that go the wrong way on the bottom ( records fall through).
There is a nice thick plastic one at Office Depot that is solid but is kinda wonky looking.
So unless you want to shell out a purpose built one the OD one is your best option for a low -cost crate.

Buy it on cd. It will sound better, cost less, and take up less room. Dont believe me? Look it up. Records don't do stereo as well. The "warmth" you here is distortion. The outside track can have upto 2x the fidelity of the inner most track. Records cant do well with extreme high and lows at the same time so they have to be mastered favor one or the other at that point. 80% of records are sourced from digital...Also records degrade over times played and are easily corrupted by dust or particulates.
