If you're into R/C aircraft, 3D helis, fixed wing electrics or FPV racing, you probably know Lipo batteries tend to be very expensive. CNHL (China Hobby Line) Lipo cells are pretty highly regarded; especially for their racing packs (100C and 120C series).

They are celebrating a new website unveiling and the Chinese New Years with a one-day sale where all packs are discounted 50% off.

For example, their popular FPV proximity pack (1500mah/4S/100C) is normally $25.99 is now $12.99.

Additionally, when you register on their new site, you'l get a $5 coupon credit to apply to your first order.

The website is dragging pretty hard under the load so you'll want to be patient with the page loading.

If youre not already familiar with the CNHL brand, you can research them at RC groups and look at reviews and feedback across many stateside hobby shops that carry them.

You just saved me a fortune on batteries for my new drone. I got an LDARC ET100 that takes 2S 450mAh batteries as a learner and eventually indoor around the house flyer when I outgrow it outdoors. I started with 6 GNB 80C batteries, one came with the drone, the other 5 I bought for like $8 a piece.

Just got 12 of them from this site plus an 8000mAh battery for on the go charging with my iSDT Q6, which isn't quite what I wanted in capacity for an on the go charging battery, but for $40, why the heck not. Total cost was $76.82 shipped for ALL of that.

You deserve like a hug, or a medal, or something.

None, there are lipo (lithium polymer) batteries. Your drill needs NiCd batteries. Google how to rebuild a Dewalt 18v battery.

Wow. Great deal. Will buy 4s for my 5" quad, 3s for my 2" quad and 1s/2s (hopefully they have some) for my tiny whoops.

I have a hubsan h501s. The lipo 2700 mAh battery it comes with runs around 15 min. Could I get a longer running battery from this site?

Anyone has experience with these brands?

Site shows zero ratings for most if not all batteries, can't seem to find reviews, and there are tons of crappy LiPos out there that can cash / burn your drone...

Do I really want to chance my expensive FC / ESCs / Motors?

Oh nooo,,, blame a facebook group called "Rotor-Riot". the CNHL team pilots posted the deal to that group and il wager half of the 25K members hit it at the same time (with many hell-bent on reselling them,...)

This site is brand spanking new, less than a week old. that's part of the reason for the sale (fresh face and fresh marketing push)

There are quite a few threads on CNHL lipos over at RC groups and also riddled throughout many of the active racing facebook groups like Rotor-Riot and MiniQuadClub. They consensus is that they are pretty solid cells for a cost quite below the big hotshot brands. Granted, most rioters use the 100C and 120 C cells so there is some bias toward the upper end models.

(here is one https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/s...line-lipos)

Here is a quick video review but a couple of guys on youtube. Im sure there are others: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MKRSxqThEE

I purchased a pair of the 70C 5000mah Lipos last year and they have been great so far. I use them in my custom built HPI Savage XL which is a heavy truck and they don't skip a beat.
