I have all the games but Death Road to Canada lol. The lowest price I saw on the bta tier was about $4.96 so it's currently not that far off right now.

This is the lowest price I've ever seen for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. What a unique game - a hybrid of 4X and RTS that can be played in online multiplayer. It's the only RTS I know that isn't a keyboard mashing Average-Clicks-per-Minute fest.

Was anyone else able to make a penny purchase with PayPal or a credit card on this bundle?

When I'm imprisoned at work I typically just buy the bundle for a penny to lock in a low BTA. I don't have my game library memorized nor time to evaluate the games while at work. It's a pain running 2 browsers on a phone so I can refresh the price in 1 so I know when to refresh in the other, but so be it. I had a low BTA this time, but when I tried to buy, it refused to let me pay with Paypal saying "invalid payment" or "invalid currency" type errors, so I tried deleting/re-adding PayPal, even logging out and losing the lowest price (which didn't matter because it stayed near $5 for a long time), clearing the cache on my browser, and I still got various types of invalid errors. I finally tried a credit card and it said "invalid currency" for a US credit card. Eventually I gave up and concluded HB doesn't want my business any more. I have no idea why they blocked my account after all these years or if they blocked penny purchases and instead of giving a useful error message like "penny purchases are no longer allowed" they just call your payment method "invalid"?

Thankfully when I got home I found out I don't want this bundle. This bundle is a definite pass for me after seeing that I own everything except Death Road to Canada and Dead by Daylight which are not worth about $5 each to me. I'm sure glad HB didn't lock me out on an awesome bundle.

Unfortunately I need to resolve this payment error in case they have a good bundle in the future. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Does it do any good to call or email them or are they useless like most CS at most companies?

I bet all these problems could be avoided if I could use a desktop PC, but sadly HB starts while most people are at work and some people's jobs (like mine) get upset when people use the Internet for personal use, especially for deals or game related stuff, which most companies consider unworthy of adults. Looking at Amazon is considered cool and sufficiently mature though. It's almost like if you admit at a job that you like games (even BF4), in everyone's mind you become an immature kid regardless of your age who is unworthy of working there and end up at the top of the to-be-laid-off-soon list, so I learned to keep my mouth shut so I have to do everything on my tiny phone. I make 1 typo per word when I type on the phone, so I do as little as I can on my phone.

I actually would prefer HB drop this BTA crap and just do fixed tiers like Indiegala and Fanatical. Then I could wait until I got home.

Really? It was as low as $4.97 total in the October Stardock bundle. This bundle dropped to $4.95, so to me it's effectively the same. I haven't even bothered to get my Solar Empire Rebellion key. I bought that bundle for other games.

Oh, maybe I'm wrong then. It's a great game if you want an RTS that isn't a frantic button mashing APM game like Starcraft. I play it in online multiplayer 5v5 (10 real guys, no AI's) and it's my #1 game when people are available to play.
