4 reviews for a product that charges my $1,000 device? Not sure if I want to take a chance.

Confused Only 4 sketchy broken-English reviews.

OP is likely a paid shill. Check his thread history. Almost all Amazon "Coupon code" deals. Starting Nov 2017.

There has been a huge increase in 3rd party Amazon shill deals since late last year.

From what I gather the manufacturers contact Slickdeals users and offer them gift cards if they post their products as "deals"

I don't think that is a useless post at all. With only 4 reviews and the way the reviews are written, it is fairly apparent that the reviews are worthless.

As for the product.

Pros:
- 3 coils increase chance of finding the sweet spot
- standing or lay down
- input of 9v @ 1.8 A or 5v @ 2A

Cons:
- not sure why but max charging watt is 10 but input is 9V@1.8A which is 16.2 watt
- Quality is unknown with only 4 (fake?) reviews

Not sure the quality but the design is nice. Flat and stand, good concept. Might consider getting one. Thanks OP

I'm not aware of any wireless charging devices damaging a phone. Is it even possible? I know if you connect through a wire, an over current or voltage can go through the wire to damage it. I never heard of a wireless charger damaging a phone. Maybe from the phone overheating, but that might be a problem with the phone and airflow around the it (in a airtight case).

It is not an useless post at all. Sometimes you get what you pay.
There are couple of chargers (including the top ranked Samsung from $20 to $27) you get a UL certified unit at least.
