I'm in for one. For nine bucks, I'll throw this in a drawer at the house for when I might need it one day. Good to have the 5G.

This seems to be a better deal for $2 more. D-link AC1200. Better brand. Although refurbished. Seller has sold thousands. I just bought 3.

Better make sure it actually works before you actually need it though...

I have used several of the Edimax "nano " style ones which are the same price point from AMZN and they work great.

Bought 3 of these and they are terrible. on paper and speed tests, things are awesome...but it can't hold a steady connection when going 20+ feet away.

Tried to use one for my nephew in gaming and latency jumps to about 3-700 every 10 secounds or so. Using a 2nd one for mining, which was great when this was in teh same room as the router.
But I moved my rig to the floor above the router and latency is bad... constant disconnects, pools kick me off due to latency. Teamviewer disconnects/reconnects constantly now.

Any good ones that do work in Linux? I got a cheap krazzila usb one but think I will fork out the $ for a nice pci 5ghz. Want to setup a Linux router box and need something super reliable.

Krazilla is a cheap one I have been using. Zero outtages. Been using it for mining so definitely been monitoring uptime. Reviews are terrible but had success with it for the last 3 weeks
