if u want two, make sure u do it in the same order as the discount will be applied to both items within a same order... once u use the code, it doesn't look like it'll allow u to use the code again for second order.

Can you join two of these together (assuming you have the correct connectors) and have it powered by the USB on a TV? Or it that too much draw for that USB? Just curious for people who have a TV larger than 60".

I'm debating getting another one but FYI the original one I got from JACKYLED stopped working within 3 weeks of use. It was a different version with a remote but i was able to get a refund on it. Not sure if I want to waste money on something that has a high chance of failure

At this price, definitely not. You want to look for something that says "addressable" or "individually addressable". You can tell by the chip size next to the LEDS. If it has a bunch of connectors, it should work for you. Good luck! (I have a raspbi light 1/3 of the way done, but haven't worked on it in years.)

I have one very similar to this (don't think it's the exact same). I have it on the back of my 27" desktop monitor. I just leave it in the white mode, which by the way isn't perfectly white. I use it all the time and it really is easy on the eyes in a mostly dark room with these in the back of the monitor. I have had it for about a year and it's still going strong. I attached a USB adapter with a switch so I can easily turn it on and off and not have to look for the cable to plug it in.

I just looked, it's the same one except the 3.3 foot version. Pretty sure it was a slickdeal too and it was $7.49 for the short one in March last year. Definitely cheaper now.

I want to build an ambilight kit, but honestly for $300 you can buy a 4k passthrough kit thats just plug and play

Does anyone have ambilight on their tv's though? I read reviews that say often times it's really annoying. Theyre not good for drama movies or anything quiet and slow paced... because the dazzling lights screw up the mood of the movie.

For action movies they say it's completely awesome though...

It specifically shows yellow as an option in the image.
