good deal, i'd recommend sticking a timer on this though or a smartplug to avoid falling asleep with it on and burning your skin off

Confused by the title. King-size does not refer to king sized bedding. I thought this was an electric blanket for beds.

I thought it was a heated mattress pad also.

Not a big fan of Sun Beam. I have two different models and the heat gets lower and lower after reaching it's peak. Maybe it's a safety mechanism but I want my pads to stay hot at a fixed temperature.

got the smaller one that was posted for like 5.xx a few weeks ago. reviews were mixed as some said it melted etc but I bet those people threw it around, rolled it up, put it in a box with winter stuff etc and it got crimped/torn/damaged or something and then that caused it to malfunction and burn.

I wouldnt use these for pets! get yourself a heated blanket instead (also much cheaper vs a space heater or other type of plug in heater) and if you plan on sleeping on it I would get the more expensive ones that dont bundle up when you move etc they stay in the same shape.

the controller is the same as this one on the smaller one I got and some reviews said it wasnt hot enough etc, well the one I got works fine and is plenty warm on lowest setting and the button was a snap button on the cover and seems like it is better than the bad ones in some reviews. so overall I was happy with the 5.xx smaller one and have a different branded one that is exactly the same material/design/look with a different control and Ive had it for years without issues but I also dont roll it up, crimp it, throw it in a box etc use it and put it away in a drawer nicely and treat it like a newborn baby and it will last for years.

I've tried a few different sunbeam heating pads and I still own all of them but I don't use this one unless I can't find the polyester covered king size one. It cost a little more but it was worth it. It's my go to. The polyester feels a lot better on your skin than this one. If you aren't going to use it often than this one will do the job but I use mine every month for cramps and I need that polyester. plus it has a timer for 2,4,6 hours and these cheaper ones usually just have an auto 2 hour timer.

Ummmm, you shouldn't be using anything with electricity for pets. Unless you don't want pets anymore.
