I do recommend scanning the first post where some folks were reviewing this exact configuration. From what I remember the consensus was that the processor is on a weak side.

See this post for additional info (thanks to MoeShop)

I know this is primarily gaming laptop but wondering if this particular processor/graphics card combo would allow for some 'light' video editing using Adobe Premiere Elements. Anyone tried that editing suite on this machine?

Looks like the 460 is slightly worse than a 1050. Medium to low settings at 1080.

So doable but weaker components across the board. But for 450.. it might be an ok deal.

Imo anyone would be better served to keep saving / wait.

Not a console guy, but if it were this or an xoneX its hard to argue against the 4k console..

PUBG on this laptop would probably be masochistic at best. I don't have it but if even intel variants are not running so great... I highly doubt this will make the cut. Maybe Fortnite would run good, I haven't yet installed it.

Ever since I've made the post I got to play a bit more around with it.

-Battlerite runs at 60 (if it doesn't then it certainly feels like that) on medium-high.

-Danganronpa V3 runs perfect (but you probably didn't buy a gaming laptop for this alone...)

-Overwatch I managed to tweak the settings to high and it still runs the same. Damned be this CPU bottleneck, but at least the game looks pretty and over 30 fps.

-Rise of the Tomb Rider runs 30+ fps on medium settings, may tweak some a bit higher since the page claims it should get that on high but I'm not confident on that.

I've found myself that, apparently, the FX-9830P is only slightly better than this one. Searching for reviews with that processor, it seems that they mostly look the same performance (minus maybe 1-2 frames). So if you find the "better" model, I probably wouldn't get it unless it's the same price or has something upgraded (SSD, m.2 drive, RAM)

In a few days I should be able to install The Evil Within and AC Origins, I'll make a post about it either here or in a wordpress/blog where I can deliver the info a bit better and make sure everything's together
