Smart 900e is way better than 850e
Not a big difference between 930e and 900e but a huge upgrade between 900e and 850e

Dell is terrible....I had a TV that was broken and it was a pain to deal with them...maybe get a PM if possible.

How's Dell's warranty / support? Does it make more sense to just price-match at Best Buy?

Just bought this tv last week from Best Buy for 100 more. I was torn between this and the 900E. The 900 looked pretty good in the store but couldn't justify the extra money to step up.

When I set this up it looked fantastic. The stand is trash, but otherwise the picture quality from my perspective is excellent for a midrange tv. Much better than my 55" LG.

it's not. well it is on 4k but not on everything else. i have a 65 900e in my bedroom and a 65 850e in the livingroom. there is a difference but it's not one you're going to really pick up on gaming or watching 1080p

the noticeable difference is in 4k. 900e has deeper blacks and brighter whites. more dynamic. it's also a hell of a lot more money now

Waiting for a deal on the x900e
I have this one coming Monday, so excited! About a year and a half ago I bought a Samsung 55KU6300 on a deal and overall very unhappy with it for gaming as it's an 8bit panel, no wide color gamut, HDR doesn't even really work etc. This X900e sounds like it will own it, I hope anyway.

The 6300 series really is garbage except just adequate for plain 1080p content. I upgraded to X850E and it is way better at 4K and HDR content.

I would add one thing here about x900e and x930e is that the new x900f includes the same X1 Extreme processor as the x930E has. It looks like Sony has enabled Dolby Vision for the X1 Extreme (but not for the X1 (x900e)). So for future proofing, I would recommend the x930e if you can get it at a good price.

Believe me...go with Best Buy !!
Also sometime but not always Crutchfield is willing to price match and they are heand and shoulders above most online retailers.
