Based on the pictured at the HD site, these don't look brushless. My brushless kit has the word imprinted on the bottom left side by where the battery connects.
Also, looking at the chuck on the drill, it appears that it's the cheaper plastic version.

It's 1750 in lbs, so ~145 ft lbs

First off, your pricing is way way way off if you think M18 Fuel's cost 5x that of Ridgid. And I have no idea who "thesawguy" is, but I have never seen a Ridgid impact driver that claims 3600 in pounds of torque. He must be confusing the impact driver with an impact wrench. Further confirmed by his "test" on lug nuts.

I think "thesawguy" should stick to reviewing saws...

How many people would ready use these enough to tell the difference?

anyone know tests out there that determine if the impact driver really hits 1750-in lb of torque? i find it hard to believe for such a cheap drill

I don't know about torque rating, but I've been able to drive 1/2" thick lags into hardwood with 4.0ah Batts.

No, not brushless. In q and a section also says it's a mix on gen5 and gen4

While these are very solid tools at decent price, don't confuse them with the higher end Ridgid offerings that are available on their own or in other sets.

Any idea if their single tools ever go on sale? I got drill/driver but interested in the reciprocating saw, not urgent though

this is a good set of tools must have if u don't have any, lifetime warranty, must register after purchase. compare to brushless, it's carries from. 5-10% efficiency less than brushless , but in my opinion it's not worth it to spend that much more money on brushless.
