Here is a AOC 4k 60Hz IPS monitor with G sync.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...-_-Product

I know a lot of people would like to see above 60Hz on a 4k IPS monitor, but there are none yet. From what I know Asus and Acer have something coming soon but word on the street is they are going to be $1600 to $2000. So I picked this up figured I would share.

I see some comments talking about this monitor's refresh rate. Here is a link to AOC website to clear some things up. Amazon is wrong about a lot of stuff. Make sure you are looking at the right model number.

Newegg: There must be a minimum of 8 dead pixels to declare an LCD display defective and eligible for return.

I would think twice before buying a display from newegg.

Television and Monitor Dead Pixels:
Televisions or Monitors with 8 dead pixels or more can be returned for a replacement within 30 days from the purchase date.

link? You probably looking at an answer for a different monitor. As far as I know, there is no 4K 100hz ips g sync monitor out yet.

Amazon in the questions. The default refresh rate is 100Hz and with a G sync Nvidia card, it is 165Hz

yeah most likely it is one of their other models. Amazon likes to wrap up the same reviews for multiple models.

The thing is, the 165Hz is mentioned in the specs of this as well and the model matches up

You're right. It says over DP:
3840 x 2160 @ 165Hz (DP 1.2/G-SYNC)

The same page states that non gsync cards can go up to 100Hz if you change the settings in windows but it comes set to 60Hz by default.

Likely a typo. They say it can only do 60hz at 1080P as well. Probably supposed to be 60hz 4k or 165hz 1080P.

I have an Asus PG248q 1080p with GSync. I've been waiting for 4k GSync HDR but it seems they will never come out and an article I saw the other day had a price of $3000. So my question is would this monitor be worth sacrificing 144hz for 4k? I have a GTX 1080ti and a PS4 PRO
