Ecobee room sensors (2-pack) $17.84 After Rebate YMMV (Michigan residents/Consumers Energy)

Lowes.com has Ecobee Room Sensors (2-pack) for $79 (which is not a good deal by itself). After applying 15 off 75 coupon (can be generated online) and a rebate, final price will drop to 17.84 (Michigan residents). Your mileage may wary depending on tax rate in your state and current rebate offer from utility company.

I'd add Michigan Residents in Title. So sad not my state as I just bought 6 of these on eBay for about $140

I'm a Consumers Energy Michigan resident! Thank you for this! I already have five but will gladly pick up two more.

They work with the Ecobee smart thermostat. I have four of these, but could use a couple more. Besides reporting the ambient temperature, they also detect motion. The Ecobee can be programmed to either use the average of all sensors when heating/cooling, or be told to use only the readings from sensors that have detected motion. It can also use the motion detection to determine if the house is unoccupied and adjust the temperature accordingly, as opposed to following a static schedule. Ideally, I'd like to have a sensor in every room of the house. The cheapest I've been able to buy a two pack was on ebay back in December for $50. I don't live in Michigan, so this deal doesn't apply to me.

Please put Michigan residents in the title. Thank you.

It is against the slickdeals rules to post links to code generators, so you will have to google them on your own.

I got my coupon from Ebay, 3 of them for $3.

How do you do the rebate though, I am thinking this may be a Lowe's website mistake. There is no rebate listing for the sensors, only $50 for a Wifi Thermostat, which I am guessing is how this is getting tagged (because it says Ecobee), nothing about a rebate for sensors and I already did a rebate for my thermostat.

In can't see any rebate on lowes website. I'm in Michigan, but use DTE.

As I mentioned in the title it is YMMV, it might be that rebate is only available for Consumers Energy customers.

Right, but have you applied for a rebate for your Ecobee thermostat as well, and did you send this in as a Wifi Thermostat?

My point was there's nothing on the site for the sensors, just the thermostat. So if you used it on a Thermostat, you can't get this now.

Although the site says 1 rebate per Household/year, not sure if they mean per household per year, meaning I can submit this one since I did my Ecobee last year. laugh out loud

At worst I just wait to open the sensors I guess.

Edit: To be clear I am not attacking your post, just trying to understand if I can take advantage and I imagine others will have similar questions if they got a Wifi thermostat rebate in the past. I already thumbed up your post and gave rep.

I got rebate last year for Ecobee 3. There is a limit of one rebate per year, so it is good to go.
