Thanks! Just Picked up the 40" for $449, which funny enough is actually cheaper than the one on Samsung.com with the partners' employee discount at $467.49 and a hell of a lot better than the current sale price of $549.99!

The 8000 has a better HDR Engine and Color Technology, has a 120hz refresh rate vs the 7000's 60hz and better sound.

What's the difference between the MU7000 & the low-tier MU6300? Also, does that MU8000 have a 10-Bit color panel & is it the equivalent to the previous years model KS8000?

Really the main difference is the color drive technology. The 7000 comes with 4K Color Drive Pro, while the 6300 comes with standard 4K Color Drive. Otherwise, they're pretty similar.

And I'm assuming you don't know if the MU8000 has 10-Bit color like last year's KS8000? And does 4K Color Drive Pro make that much of a difference from the regular 4K Color Drive?
