Seems like a good price for this computer, I've been eyeing the version at Amazon with 12Gb of RAM for $499, so I think this one wins out. I'd like to add an SSD to it, I researched an a M.2 will work.

pretty good deal compared to the HP Pavilion 570-p026 i purchased from staples for $399 (it had 12GB of memory vs. 8GB, but only 1TB of hard drive space ... but I'd have to throw out 4GB of memory if I wanted to buy an 8GB stick). this one also has PCIE expansion slots for a graphics card.

i would be interested an SSD, as well. some reviews on amazon say they disconnected the DVD drive. probably would be open to doing that since i have an external DVD writer

You only need to unplug the DVD if you plan to use the SATA for a 2nd drive, if you install a M.2 drive you don't need to unplug the DVD. This is what I think based on my research.

What's the highest video card can it support based on your research? A 3gb 1060?

i read amazon reviews for this computer and it's unclear what size the power supply is. some say it's 220, others 240, and others 300w. one person said they added "an EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1060Ti and it works perfectly, i did add another small fan since it has 2 fan inputs on the motherboard"

i'm planning on adding a cheap GPU with 3 inputs so i can run 3 monitors in my home office. i haven't gamed since college and probably won't start with kids around.

you should be able to run at least 2. there's VGA and HDMI inputs on the back of the computer. i was daydreaming about 3, but that would require the addition of a cheap graphics card with 3 inputs.

there are plenty of connectors ... DVI or VGA to HDMI. i would recommend buying good quality ones (i.e. ones confirmed to work without issues on amazon vs. stuff shipped from china on ebay).

Ah, ok thanks buddy. I appreciate your help. Might just have to look at this. Is there more a discount using a Newegg Business account? Do promo codes work on both sides?

Why do I see $439.99 price instead of #399.99? Did I miss a coupon somewhere?
