Ram CAN be upgraded as it has a single memory slot occupied by 1 8gb module.

Actually 4K screen does consume much battery power than lower resolution because it has literally 4 times the pixel counts than a 1080P display. So, the backlit of the display, the GPU has to push much for maintaining the 4K display resolution and that is true for every laptop.

I dont understand why this is so popular.. It is $1000.. No dedicated gpu no touch screen and just 8GB of RAM

The 4K screen is a battery killer but very good specs for the prices. The yoga 720 was a better deal not long ago with better specs except the 4k

I bought this at $1000 the last time around. Great Ultrabook, every bit as good as the XPS 13 IMO. it's too bad the RAM is non upgradeable.

I don't think this is a good deal, especially compared to the FHD/MX150 version.

Micro Center has a version with FHD, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and MX150 for only $70 more

When you post some deal, be careful if you are pointing to the correct product. That is Ideapad 720S 14, not 13.3" And we do have a deal for that as well, posted by me, with i7-8550U, 8GB Ram, 256GB SSD, MX150 @ $712.

After 1 Lenovo, I won't buy Lenovo ever again. They whitelist their WiFi cards so you wont ever be able to change to a different card in the future.

Even if you get the same exact model as the original. If the FRU number on the replacement card is not correct or listed as approved for your laptop, it won't let you boot.

I found this out when I tried to change the Intel 3165 in my Yoga700 to a Intel 8265.

Your version is 3.5lbs and way more importantly it's FHD. That's 1920x1080. This posted one is 4k.

While I'd be ok with a 3k screen on a 13.3"....I wouldn't pay $300 for an FHD laptop this day and age. Worthless for productivity and substandard for other uses.

After 9 Lenovos, that's all I get. Never had a major issue, excellent durability...and besides that, what are better options? Dell, HP? lol

Also the newer Lenovo ultrabooks have chargers the size of the older iPad chargers which is way better than carrying a brick around.
