I bought this during the Thanksgiving sales and returned it today because I realized it was an impulse buy for me and I didn't really need a laptop yet, especially one with these kind of specs and price. Overall, I think it's a good ultrabook but do your research and make sure you are OK with some of their design decisions and potential issues. My review, based on my preferences, is below:

PROS:
  • Very fast
  • Lots of storage space
  • Gorgeous screen and form factor
  • Price is great for an ultra book of this caliber
  • 90-day return policy is amazing (and extended warranty if you have Costco credit card)
CONS:
  • Runs hot, and throttles frequently depending on your usage
  • Loud fans and occasional coil whine
  • Battery (I'm fairly neutral on this. It's a 4k screen, so obviously the battery doesn't compare to non-4k ultra books)
  • Speaker quality is unacceptably bad (and poorly placed)
  • Webcam placement is under the screen, which makes video calls really awkward
  • Keyboard was too flimsy for my liking

I can confirm. I just bought this.

However, I'm having lots of lag / stuttering issues with apps not native to Windows. There seems to be a lot of users experiencing the same thing with the trackpad. A lot of blame seems to be on the Dell drivers, which they refuse to acknowledge.
