Good Deal. I remember Best Buy had an Insignia 40" for 150 a while back. I think I'd rather pay $200 for the 49".

Great for a secondary TV, or a primary if you're not picky about picture quality. Don't wanna sound snotty, cuz I know some families can't afford to spend too much on a TV. A big 50" screen for $200 is good enough most people in this country.

People will complain about it not being a smart TV, but this would actually be perfect for your non-techie parents because they can't screw anything up. If my parents saw a smart hub menu when they turned it on they wouldn't know what to do.

I find it funny that people who get suckered into spending hundreds of dollars they don't have on features they don't need always try to sound holier than thou to justify their debt to themselves.... Move along and don't worry you are in good company a sucker is born everyday

Thats not a good deal. For $270 you can get a 55" 4k

This deal is about getting it as cheap as possible. $200 is a great price for a 1080p 50" TV.

I think this is basically the TV my family has. I tried playing Player unknown's battlegrounds on Xbox One on it last night, and got really dizzy. I've only ever gotten dizzy from early stages of VR... Never from actual games.

Is it likely that the dizziness was more of a frame stuttering or field of view issue, or maybe that it wouldn't be a problem on the newer gen console? Also wondering if getting a higher spec tv would count, but at the same time thinking probably not, since I guess Xbox One only goes to 60hz

Dont forget to combine this deal with the eGift Card deal. You can save another $30 buying 3 giftcards
https://slickdeals.net/f/11252735-select-egift-cards-sale-60-kohl-s-nordstrom-or-gamestop-egift-card-for-50-more-via-gift-card-mall

It would bring total to $200+ $13(tax) - $30 = $183

EDIT: Best Buy eGift Card deal is now dead
