For those with Chase Freedom Unlimited: Combo with Shop Through Chase for an additional 3% on your purchase on top of the usual 1.5% (so 4.5% x $7.50 = free 34-ish cents worth of points, pending transfer and redemption bonuses). If you're gonna do 'free money' things, might as well go all in.

This is a big warning to people regarding stockpile as a company. They charge crazy amount of fees and they double charge on fees. I'm not a customer but I've done my research and read horrible reviews after I saw this deal. This is not a deal, it's a trap, once you are in, they will make alot of money on fees, we talking about 3% of your principal + $2.99.

If you want to get rich through investing, I recommend only two companies: Charles Schwab or Robinhood if you like free trades. The ability to be able to buy stocks in real time would actually save you tons of money. As a retail investor with over 10 years of experience, I see stockpile as a fraud that takes money from innocent people through insane fees that's percentage based on your principal.

You should have read further. I've never been charged a fee at Vanguard. All you have to do is have paperless. <<If you're the primary account owner, you can eliminate this fee by signing up for our e-delivery service, which allows you to receive statements, annual privacy notices, confirmations, and fund reports and prospectuses for mutual fund and brokerage accounts electronically.>>

Vanguard has one of the lowest maintenance fees out there. We set up a 3,000 account for all the kids, as primary owners, and never once paid a fee because of the e-delivery.

Can you still redeem Stockpile credit for gift cards? Used this to get a couple $20 Target GCs last time for $7.

New to Stockpile and Living Social. I also have an Amex offer of 5 back on 25. Is there any first time LS offer I can use first and then use this SAVE25 so I can take advantage of all? TIA

I just tried and I couldn't. Looking at the fine print I found :

'The gift card is not redeemable for a retailer gift card.'

What does it mean when Groupon and LivingSocial decline every type of payment for every type of order you make when these good deals roll around? I have multiple accounts still set up in both that I probably need to clean up. Is there some sort of black list they put you on to keep you from buying anything? I had PayPal, Apple Pay, and credit card transactions all come back as "a problem with your Groupon" when attempting to get this. Also happens with other slickdeals like Starbucks and Dunkin' cards.
