Newegg has a blitz deal - G.Skill 32GB 2400MHz 2x16GB kit for $269.99 after coupon code EMCXPRPY2, it's targeted, or so they say, but anyone who subs to their promo emails should be able to use it.

Code:
EMCXPRPY2
It's not bad as it's hard to find reputable 32GB sets below $300 now. You can split it in two, $135 per 16GB if you want, thus losing dual channel though.

I have 3 sets of G.Skill 32/3000MHz sets I have purchased for $157 each. Good times... But it will get back there, or close, in some time.

Just the fact that places like newegg and microcenter are putting RAM back into some sort of rebate category in their ads gives me hope that the prices may start going back down soon...

You can't buy just 16GB though this deal, I meant that you can split that set in two, like share with your friend who may need RAM too. That is if you don't need 32GB and want to save a few $

That's a damn good idea. I might just have a friend who needs RAM too, if we go in on this together, it's a good price for 16GB compared to current prices.

Edit: Do all current AMD motherboards support one 16gb stick of ram? I read a bit online about 1 x 16 vs 2 x 8, and it seems pretty much the same, but it warned that not all motherboards can support 16gb sticks. Still true?

Is getting 3000-3200mhz ram worth it vs buying this for a ryzen build?
