I'm a crazy bargain shopper and this is the best-reviewed Gaming Laptop in this category, I've seen it for $1200. down to $944., but yesterday it went down to $899. w/ Free Expedited Shipping, No Tax (Outside of NY). I almost bought it refurbished for $863., but this is Brand-New for $899.!! You won't find a better laptop and with these specs for this price, believe me!! (I'll be using it for music production, video-editing, graphic design, light gaming but it can handle heavy gaming). Also it's a sexy beast, looks very professional yet not overdoing it on the gamer look. Will look prestigious at any business meeting or nerd convention! I got mine!!

Dell Inspiron 15 5577 15.6" Full HD Gaming Notebook Computer, Intel Core i7-7700HQ 2.8GHz, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4GB GDDR5, Windows 10 Home

Hahahahahahahah you keep on using this for video editing and graphic design OP. Brilliant idea. It covers all of 60% of the sRGB spectrum. Pretty much the worst IPS display you can use.

Aside from that display, it's a solid laptop. But that Costco one that went front page has a significantly better video card (GTX 1060) and warranty. Good if you want extra protection on a $900-$1000 laptop.

I actually have my laptop hooked up to an amazing monitor via HDMI and use a great mouse and external keyboard via usb hub. When I receive this, I'll be hooking it up to my monitor, mouse and external keyboard the same as I do now. I don't even use my actual laptop keyboard, touchpad or screen unless I travel, which I do maybe 1-2 times a year, so those things don't even matter to me. I mainly need it for music, I have a i5-3230 now with no SSD, so my music will be flying with no lag when I receive this!

Those don't have the specs I wanted. I wanted the more powerful i7-7700HQ for video editing, not the 8550U or 7500U. I also wanted a 512SSD not to be stuck with a 256SSD, and 16gb RAM installed so I didn't have to worry about adding more RAM later (but I can still max out at 32gb RAM if I want later). This deal had my dream specs, I don't really game or use my laptop screen anyways (as I mentioned I hook up to an external monitor, mouse and keyboard so I feel like I have a desktop at home, but can travel with the laptop if needed). Btw I'm not a Costco member. So I'm good!! Smilie Thanks for your comment!

ALSO...If you take into consideration the better i7-7700HQ processor, the price of me having to upgrade to a 512 SSD (so I don't have to worry about running out of space for my programs with a 128 or 256 SSD) and having to upgrade the RAM to 16gb, my deal is exceptionally better! (I always use an external 2TB HDD anyway for storage so I don't need an internal HDD along with the internal SSD. I believe it's safer to have an external drive instead of everything saved in your laptop). Plus the I personally like the black matte look of this laptop and gorgeous looking keyboard way better! Nice enough for a corporate setting without those gaudy red WASD buttons like on other gamer laptops, still with gamer accents without looking like a toy and overdoing the gamer look. Smilie

Just search this model, 5577, in the forum...This exact configuration was cheaper than this price in the past 6 months several times...

But is it now? How does an expired deal help me or anyone else? I wasn't in the market in the past. This is a great current deal. Hopefully someone will appreciate this posting, that's what this site is all about, great current deals for current shoppers.
