We got these as a gift. They are ok, but definitely not high quality. The aroma is weak and is lost quickly. I'm no expert on these things but I would guess there are lots of fillers and not much oils used in these.

Make your own. Better quality, easy and quick. Get kids involved and get them to take baths easier by having them make their own.

So she believed you when you told her it was the bath bombs and not you?

I use this recipe. Baking soda, salts and corn starch from bulk stores. Citric acid I had to get from Walmart near the canning section in housewares. For the mold you can use anything from cupcake tins to ice cube trays to Easter eggs. You can find cheap plastic ball molds from Amazon and hobby lobby as well.

I heard adding corn starch can cause UTI's in bath bombs, at last when I looked it up awhile ago. Tried making them once with the kids and we didn't do too well, they kept growing so we cut them like rice crispy treats and they used them that night.
