How would these compare to the cheaper ones on Amazon? I would like to get a few for the bathrooms, since they tend to get really dark when the power goes out Stick Out Tongue

Its a Magic! "Thanks to Everbright's smart diagnostic circuit, you can turn the bulb on and off with a wall switch during blackouts just like you would normally, making the charge last even longer. Once power is restored, the battery will recharge automatically. "

I would prefer this one over OP as this is 60w equivalent. 40W is too dim.

Take these ratings with a large grain of salt. I go with Lumen rating, if available. I have a few LED bulbs that are rated 60W equivalent and consume about 9W, and they looked just as bright as a 60W light, until I actually put an incandescent 60W next to it. Not a significant difference but there was a difference in brightness. The LED bulbs with 5-7W consumption - I just don't buy that they would be even close, unless these have some new generation tech that I haven't seen yet.

I imagine that when power goes out, but circuit is closed (light switch turned on), there is a high resistance loop due to AC circuit/ground, and that's what the circuitry senses. Same concept when you remove the bulb and hold the base in your hand (creating a high resistance circuit with your hand)

4x rechargeable bulbs for $20 vs 1 for $14 seems like a better deal to me

My problem with https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06VWHY9J7/ and most other emergency backup LED bulbs on Amazon, is the color temperature is 6000k. I prefer the soft white 2700K bulbs.

LyfeLite is the only cheap ($30 for 8) bulb that offers this backup power and 2700K. I'm just wondering why they don't sell on Amazon? Scared they might be bad reviews? Anybody tried them: https://www.lyfelite.com/

Sengled never ceases to amaze me with their weird bulbs.

Now if they'd just combine them into one.

A RGB smart battery powered security camera Bluetooth speaker wifi repeater bulb...

where did you see that, looks to me that it will just turn on when power is out, and stay on for 3 hours until battery is dead.
