i just bought 786n at walmart for $65. not sure what model is in this post. looks same as mine. my arm is 14.5". the cuff seems on the small size, snug. whenever it inflates systolic goes only upto 150-160. One time it went up to 170. I think it should be able to go higher. what if someone has bp 200+? sometimes if the cuff isn't tight enough? i get E1 error. inflates up to 5-7 then stops. i have to readjust the cuff. it seems very sensitive. sometimes it gives me very low unrealistic bp when i know it's much higher. like today instead of 120/80 + 5-10 points it was low 90's/48-low 50's, right arm. the cuff was in the right position. i think the cuff that comes with it, 9-17", fits more like 10-11". my arm is 14.5". i want to check with omron if it's the right size cuff. bought another brand cheaper bp monitor to compare the two models. the standard cuff is huge.

i think i'm going to order one from amazon and compare different units. seems like they've made little or no improvement in digital units since years ago. still not accurate.
