was able to grab it for 20% off as well using SHOP2018 online. I was a first time user of Google Express though so it may of been a promo specific to that.

Surprising amount of 1 star reviews. Not sure $20 savings worth losing Costco warranty since it's bought via GE

Are you sure you lose the Costco Warranty?

The purchase made via GE won't be registered under your Costco account. Hence no price adjustments, no extended warranty. Returns only to GE, not Costco, and GE only matches 90 days for returns to "unlimited" Costco's...
In other words, you are not the buyer from Costco, GE is.

Ohhh that totally blows. Yeah, I would skip all Google Express Costco orders. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks, OP. We have an older, cheaper version of this that only does polycarbonate containers and bags with valves. Food stays fresh much longer sealed with this. Won't be picking this one up because ours is vertical, takes almost no counter space, and still works perfectly. Using the various size boxy containers as we do, our use of food storage bags has dropped by 90%. So, while this is still a little pricey, if you have the space for it it will probably serve you well.

Aim for $0.15/foot in 11 inch vacuum sealer rolls I have had no issue with any of the Amazon rolls. Many seem to be made on the exact same machinery with a different brand label .

+1 a little surprised at the reviews. Still rated highly overall but a surprisingly large number of negative reviews, the average rating of the cheaper Foodsaver model at Costco is higher.

Not true. It is still under your Costco account based on your membership number. I have made Costco purchases from Google Express and Costco treating them the same as a direct purchase.

Really? Recent mess with Yamaha sound bars - wrong model shipped by GE. Costco was unable to locate the order under the membership number and refuse to accept return. Had to return to GE and rebuy.

What's your "successful" story?

I have had an older simpler version for years. There is a slight learning curve. My hunch some bad reviews are user error.

Just hung up the phone with Costco to verify again. All purchases made thru Google Express apply as standard Costco purchases with yearly cash back and extended warranties applicable.

It will be registered under your Costco account . Because GE would be buying it from Costco using your membership.
I could return an item in costco which was bought from GE.
