Hey guys - walked into my local Walmart yesterday & checked TVs real quick. Saw the TCL 65S401 was marked down to $628, checked online too & its there for me locally in Buffalo, NY.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/TCL-65.../598958531

Saving up for a 65" TCL now & thought about just saying screw it & getting this but I'm waiting for the 5 Series to drop (on a budget, no offense 6 series).

*possible buzzkill*

this model is about get blown out in favor of the 2018 refresh models.

i would wait it out (til spring 2018) if you can since rumors the new 65 S series will be the same MSRP as the older (this) one.

That was rationale in the end. Just thought it was an interesting deal if someone was dead set on getting a 65" today

Yeah I'm eagerly waiting for the 6 series. What is the actual MSRP on this TV? Wondering because I'm wondering what the 6 series will be priced at.

I own the 55S405. Any differences between the 65" and the 55" besides the size?

show your ticket in customer service and ask for a price adjustment. they will give you the difference cash (or whatever payment method you used) you have 30 days to get the price adjustment.

The 55" 6 Series is very strongly rumored to be the same price as the 2017 55P607 at $650. The 65" 6 series is a bit less strongly rumored at $1000. Both prices sound likely.
