How upgradeable is this? Can the PSU be upgraded for a GPU?

+ brand new
+ RX 570 4 GB
- slower CPU
Um.. Your example of ab etter deal costs $200 more, has a significantly slower CPU & half the RAM. But, ok!

This Desktop use standard ATX PSU and can be upgraded to a high capacity one with ease. Here is the HP Product spec link which will give you all the details:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05686933

The motherboard is a B350 chipset based uATX motherboard with DDR4 Ram slots. Also, it supports. It supports AMD Ryzen processors up to 65W TDP.

Also, someone was saying the PSU is garbage without knowing anything. This is a 80+ bronze PSU and can supports cards like GTX 1050 ti or even a GTX 1060 if CPU and GPU are not overclocked.

Looks like it is $700 + tax and shipping on Costco if you have a membership. Costco deal is new so has two year warranty. Is the warranty worth the additional cost of ~$160 + tax?

Isn't this the same PC from that screaming Costco deal before Christmas? That was only $600 so this is decent but this is also refurbished. I guess we now know where all the costco returns end up...

I actually have this computer. I bought from Costco with 4 years warranty(Squarespace included) and this PC is great for running modern titles if you dial back the graphics settings a bit. Other than that this PC is very upgradable. You can upgrade PSU and GPU. You can't upgrade CPU though. The motherboard has 1 pcie 3.0 slot for the GPU, and it also has 2 m.2 slots, but they are not for storage. Overall this PC is great, and I'd recommend this PC if you want a smooth gaming experience. This PC is also a great workstation.

The CPU is upgradable to any 65W TDP AMD Ryzen CPU and that includes Ryzen 5 1400, Ryzen 5 1600 as well. Currently Ryzen 7 1700 is the most powerful 65W TDP Processor from AMD, so no point of upgrading it. But that does not mean it is not upgrdable. Please check the HP Link I have given in my previous post which lists the Processor upgrade information as well.

RX 550 cant give you 4 K gaming so for what you need an Ryzen 1700 >? makes no sense

they put in the cheap rx 550 because nobody buy the RX 550 and RX 570 or RX 580 get to expensive and the psu cant handle it.

The RX 550 is slower than an GTX 750 Ti from 2014.

I just said if you wanna buy this for gaming its the wrong system, because of weak psu and GPU.
It says power desktop, not gaming desktop...you know not everythingin life is gaming, right?

So...
The CPU is upgradable, but at this moment there is nothing better to upgrade to. Is that right?
The GPU can be upgraded with the existing PSU. Right?

I am confused by the statement that there are two m.2 slots, but they are not for storage. What are they for?
