If you ever want to make more than one cup at a time, this is not for you. It only holds one cup worth of water, so each cup you make has to start from cold and takes a while to heat.

Great price. I've been using this model for years. I'd get one, but I already have a spare one.

The perfect prison cell brewer. Jk. Great deal though. I have the B70 (I believe). If I needed a one-man office spare id be all over this

is this worth $49?

Ideally, I'd like to get one that holds more water.

These are great for people that dont like to leave power running on something constantly. I have a large machine at home, but I use this for travel. Benefit to machine that 'holds' water is you dont have to fill it every time, but generally you do leave them on so the water is heated and coffee is available immediately. This smaller one you need to fill, but it also needs to run that heat cycle (I just keep a little spring water bottle I keep refilling next to it so the water is handy). There are measures for how much water to add when you lift the lid. I think the whole process it less than a couple of minutes - but you dont need to pay the electric to keep it on all the time Smilie So it depends on your usage.

If you can find a filler for $0.01-$2 you should be able to use promo code Home10 and save an extra $10!
Huh ??

That promo is already in OP's first post equation.

Not worried about electricity, but I'm curious how long it takes to make one with a k-cup

Is there a newer model out? Does this only accept k-cups and nothing else?

It does hold 6, 8, or 10 oz

I mean, the product name is called "mini"

Best to look for a bigger one if you need a bigger size

Also, $79 reduced to $49 is something to think about

Going by memory alone, I don't think it takes longer than 2 min for whole process. As for a newer model, I am a bit sheltered when it comes to these. So whatever is on SD, is what I am familiar with. So I really don't know, sorry Frown but I think this is the standard mini brewer they offer.

As for brewing other than k-cups, In the walmart description [walmart.com], it says it will use a "My K Cup" filter- which means you can brew anything. Though I have never tried it in mine. I am intrigued though now. Smilie
" also compatible with the Keurig Classic Series My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter, so you can brew your own ground coffee. "

If you drink more than one cup a day, or like the convenience of "on demand", have the counter space for a larger brewer - then maybe one with a tank might be better suited for your needs.

You really only want this as an office spare or if you're single and live in a tiny apartment. The larger ones are much better, more convenient, and don't really cost that much more.
