Bro, just take $199 amazon version. They have drastically minimized their ad bloat by now removing lockscreen ads. This 2GB/32GB for $180 is expensive now

No NFC?! WTF?! My 2-year-old phone has 3GB of RAM and NFC; and cost less than this. This is hardly a good deal for only 2GB of RAM, no NFC and 180 bucks + tax + membership req.

NFC is going away from phones. I think they want to sell watches.

This is EOL and not getting any more updates. Doesn't matter if you don't care, I'm just talking about market value.

Amazon announced they are removing those ads. Any "new" amazon prime phones won't be coming with Adware anymore and the ones already sold will receive an update on March 2nd to remove them. I know it because i receive the email considering i have G5+ from them since Prime Day.

How is a more expensive phone with ads, which is not actually available to purchase, a better deal?

I was thinking the same thing. Costco one is cheaper and the true unlocked version.

But the discount for prime phone now is only $30, which brings the price down to $200 from $230. This Costco g5 plus have a $50 discount from regular price so $180. Don't see how the Amazon g5 plus would be better deal.
