$200 Target GC + $200 off Samsung Note8 Verizon

Target's pricing for the Note8 is lower than most places at $901. So, effectively $901 - $200 GC - $200 billing credit = $501 + tax (on $901).

This is a result of 2 offers running currently which can be stacked:

$200 Target gift card with new activation or upgrade is available through 2/17/18.
Note: The Target mobile staff made me purchase a SquareTrade monthly protection plan ($7.99/month) in order to get the gift card. I did not see this as part of the fine print for the offer, but they wouldn't let me proceed without this. I didn't argue too much because they insisted I could cancel the protection plan the next day for a full refund, but it was still annoying.

and

$200 off via billing credit when purchasing via device payment plan. Store says this is through 2/14/18, but website says through 3/1/18. This appears to be an offer from Verizon as you can find this on other sites selling the Note8 (Verizon, best buy, etc).

I had to pay tax on the full price of the phone. Interestingly, it showed up as a line item rather than as sales tax, so it was discountable by 5% Red card savings. I upgraded my phone, so my plan did not change.

I believe both the gift card and the bill credit require a new line or upgrade of phone on an old line with Verizon per the fine print.

No, must add or upgrade a line. You can pay off the DPP and cancel the line anytime.

This is a good deal if both can be combined. I reserved mine and will be in Tuesday to see if it's true

Both offers stack. You have to stay with Verizon for at least 24 months to collect all bill credits. Bill credits stop as soon as you pay off the DPP and/or cancel the line.

Verizon seems to have the note8 for ~$760 if you do DPP. I wonder if target can price match that.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the $760 price on Verizon's website already reflects the $200 off in the original post.

Pretty good deal! I got in on the $350 off at Best Buy a couple weeks ago though. I don't need any more gift cards so getting the $150 off immediately and then another $200 over bill credits is still pretty sweet by comparison.

Am I able to pay off the phone all at once and still get the bill credit applied to the full price of the phone?
