no, not a bit more, you need to spend double price to get the fastest nvme ssd if you really care about speed.

Reviews say its somewhat slow compared to say Samsung. I will pay a bit more and stick with the faster drive.

88 dollars from yesterday's deal. Good luck getting the 80 dollar ones. You might as well go for 500GB at that point.

For cheapo PC it doesn't matter. Noobs will never know the difference. It surely isn't worth paying a dollar more, though.

I was about to buy the Toshiba until I saw Microcenter is selling an Intel 256 gb SSD for $59 in store. Not only is it $5 cheaper and a better brand, but the sales tax is half since Newegg charges tax in Jersey. What are your thoughts on the Intel model instead?

I'm seeing $70 for the 256GB Intel 545s. Like you said, if you pay tax at Newegg the Intel at Microcenter is the better deal IMO.

It's a good deal for a budget pc. I'm using it right now to boost my os and it's very fast

It's actually $69 if you just buy the SSD. The $59 price is a sale price only when you combine it with something else on sale (forgot exactly what the other item is, Windows 10 maybe?)

No, the $59 at Microcenter for the Intel is the store price. The price you see online is the web price. Even at $69, I think I might buy the Intel for the extra $5 over the Toshiba.
