They have this "sale" like every month.

Actually, I just checked my emails for the last few months, and they've literally had it every month.

Also, whenever I check, every flight west (I fly from Chicago O'Hare) has a ~12 hour layover in Denver. So I don't think these deals are worth the trip unless you're actually trying to fly to Denver.

As an air traffic controller I can assure you that delays are very, very rarely a result of the air carrier. Weather and volume account for 90+ percent of aviation related delays.

I would fly Frontier again. We had direct RT flights last month between Michigan and Florida and arrived on time. Everything is "a la carte" but it was the cheapest we've ever flown.

they have a low priority vs. other airlines and are frequently subject to delays. Be warned!

All flights from my city go through Denver before going anywhere else and the shortest layover was 6.5 hours all the way up to 12 hours (with 2 kids under 5, ok Frontier). People rave about the low prices but I don't see how you could get over the layovers, baggage fees, late/cancelled flights, etc. I wish Frontier and I could be travel buddies but it never seems to work out.

I have two family members on each side that have flown Frontier in the last few months. For one the flight was delayed 3 hours from 10pm departure, the other's flight was cancelled and they had to wait at the airport until the next night. I haven't heard about them booting individual passengers off flight but I know flights are often late or can be cancelled without notice.

I used to enjoy their seasonal SFO-CVG service so much. I would recommend frontier nonstop services.

I fly from DC to Denver with Frontier once or twice a month. It is on time most of the time. What I don't like about Frontier is its new flight paths to/from Denver from/to Dulles. These routes take much longer hours, inconvenient departure time, and more expensive.
