Anyone know what 18650 cell comes with these? Might give the LC90 a try since it's zoomable.

$12.99 no battery.
$25.99 LC90 light comes with a 18650 3350 mAh Anker-labeled battery.
$35.69 one has built-in 6700 mAh Anker-labeled battery.
$59.99 one uses 26650 5000 mAh Anker-labeled battery.

If you buy the LC90 package with the battery included, then it's a 3350 mAh Anker-labeled battery.
Yeah, just wondered if it's Pana or Samsung cell

If you're a flashaholic, then these lights should be fine. You won't be wowed by these Big Grin These are well constructed and very good lights for the average consumer who don't want to spend a lot on flashlights.

The 3 modes on these drive me crazy, high and low are barely different and you have to go through blinding strobe to get between them.

That would drive me crazy too. 3 rapid clicks to hit strobe would make more sense.

Yup, strobe mode being non-hidden is a deal breaker for me.

LC90 is a great flashlight. The mode selection isn't as bad as everyone is making it sound, although it isn't ideal.

Yup I returned both mine (one was DOA) due to strobe and not having any actual low mode--just "bright" and "80% bright"...this has serious design flaws, there are a lot better flashlights for a few more dollars with 4-5 brightness modes, memory that actually works (mine didn't) much better feel, strobe avoidance, not a super bright hot spot in the middle and an 18650 will actually fit in them correctly (this don't include a 2 cent sleeve, so if you remove the 3 AAA holder there is a large empty space around an 18650). $8 price is also a weekly occurrence on these.

there are a lot better flashlights for a few more dollars with 4-5 brightness modes, memory that actually works (mine didn't, even after leaving it on/off for 20 seconds or more, while it was supposed to take 5 seconds), much better feel, strobe avoidance, not a super bright hot spot in the middle and an 18650 will actually fit in them correctly (this don't include a 2 cent sleeve, so if you remove the 3 AAA holder there is a large empty space around an 18650). $8 price is also a weekly or at least monthly occurrence on these.

Are there any flashlights that don't have all these dumb modes on them? If I don't want a super bright light I'll use my phone. And if an intruder breaks in, there's no way I'm gonna switch thru 5/6 different modes and try to strobe him to death
