Yep! I don't see why not, but I'm using it for my deep learning setup.

Don't see why not. It's not a ban product.

Does your deep learning setup earn you crypto?

Well, MSRP is 550, but given the current state of affairs with crypto and all, I just wanted to share with everyone who wanted a gaming card for one of the "cheapest" prices out there for now. Otherwise, you'll see them for like 800+

We live in a world now where "in stock" is a deal on gpus. Im personally at a crossroad where I could A) spend $60-$80 on a 750 or 770 used, and wait out until Volta gpus are released around April as rumored, or B) just bite the bullet and get a 1070 or 1080 now.

Of course who knows what the pricing will be for Voltas, but it looks like we're beyond the point of ever really getting MSRP on current or next gen gpus.

Damn, Newegg started charging tax for WA state ><. I wanted to buy to resell, but the 1080 has very low margins ~$50-75 on the reseller market.

All Nvidia or AMD have to do is set MSRP at $12,000 for all new graphics cards. Then Nvidia can discount the GPU down to $1200. 90% off MSRP. Seems to work for Invicta.

Thanks OP Thumbs up. Doesn't matter what the market price is. To 90% of SDers, It's all about MSRP which I find pretty ignorant way of shopping.

On the other hand, buying a 1080 now and selling it off later is an option considering they're not losing any value in the market right now.
