We have this, its a good tablet for kids. Just surprised they didn't upgrade the hardware at all with this one.

We had a ton of leapfrog stuff for my son. My suggestion is to gets the kids kindle. Way bigger selection of games for less money. Leapfrog games are expensive. The devices are solidly built but very very slow.

Not a fan of the Epic. The big cost with these (or really any game platform) are the games. The other versions of the leappad accept cartridges, which you can get used fairly cheap. The Epic will only work with downloaded games.

leapfrog is all but out of business. I wouldn't invest in this . . . there have been like 3 new games since Jan 2017

You can download the Amazon Appstore, so I think it's nice to have access to the Leap Store(?) too. Plus the $20 download card usually goes for $11ish and stacking it with their sales, the price isn't too bad.

Certain Walmart's have these for $59 since BF if anyone wanted one. Does anyone know if you can download or use Amazon Freetime on these?
