ASUS TP510UQ 2-in-1 Touchscreen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 2GB Graphics - 1080p 8th gen - $900

Hey everyone, I have been looking at Costco laptops for sometime. This dropped this morning from 1100 to 900.

It's 8th gen, 2-in-1 and 15.6 inches. I don't think it has windows ink (digitizer pen), but is touch screen. It weighs 4.1 allegedly which should be okay for 15.6? I think I will buy. Do you all think this is a good go?

Thanks

I wouldnt pay $900 for a 940mx gpu and no windows ink.

Im in the market for a design laptop 2 in 1 with a 1050ti or higher, 16gb ram or higher.

For my specific needs, i would need way more power than a 940mx offers. And not being able to draw on it is a no go.

FYI, following the link and looking at the specs, it reports that the laptop has "Approximate Weight: 5.1lbs". So a pound heavier than what you were expecting.

I think that could be the entire package? In the description it says 4.1 x2. But, yes I do see the 5.1 as well.

I guess like others were saying, depends on your needs. It's close to a gaming machine but misses the mark on multiple points. Its not quite powerful enough to replace a desktop, not quite light enough to travel, however it is in a pricepoint where it straddles the 750-850 class and the 1100-1300 class making it an 'ok' proposition.

They should be ashamed of themselves putting 8th gen CPU with a lousy 940 GPU. This is NOT a gaming laptop by any stretch of the imagination
