anyone ever try to shove one of these things in either side at home?

also, so many fake reviews. You can tell when they only take pictures of the product. who cares about the product. What does the video/pictures look like from this? Of course nobody shows it because they don't want to shove this in either side or in the ear as the amazon image shows.

I own a similar product and have found it quite useful. I DIY home improvement a good deal, and I've used it:
1) to find the shape of a vent within a wall
2) to snake up 6 ft into a closed wall to find the source of a leak that sprung out of some old copper pipe
3) to see where a wire ran within a wall

Key notes for the uninitiated:
-These cameras have a limited focal range - mine is something like 1.5-3". So anything closer or further away than that range will be blurry, so don't try any distance shots with this thing. That said, if you find yourself with the need to see around a corner or inside a wall, these things are invaluable. Saved me thousands.
-The wireline looks like its semi-rigid, which is excellent in my book. Mine is not and I've taped a heavy gauge copper wire to the head and ~3ft of the line so I can angle the camera before I send it into the wall/hidden space.
-Also I should point out that this seems to be 2 products: a camera and a separate wifi transmitter. I imagine you can use the camera with the wire plugged into your laptop or phone, and the wifi transmitter *may* have other uses with a webcam. Just speculation on that last one but I'm gonna buy and try it out. Good luck.
