Probably wont last very long, for this price, probably crap. Maybe good for first time user to get their feet wet.

Check out the youtube videos... this is a pretty decent, full-featured drone. It's decent sized, uses highly-available batteries, and can even do flips and take pretty decent video.

I have had 2 of these and this is my third buy, I used parts building a custom quad.

Yes, they come with the 4GB card- and it's not some knockoff like other quads give you. I think it's a Sandisk.
Yes, Syma X5C-1 batteries are used with this quad, same Molex connector.
Yes, Syma props will fit, but the Cheerwing props are probably better quality. In fact, the whole quad has a better build quality than most Syma Quads. Cheerwing also has great customer support- unheard of support.

The Motors Are Not the same as those used with the Syma X5C-1 or the other X5 series that I have disassembled. But, they are not too awfully priced, about 2-3 times as much as a $2 Syma X5C-1 motor.

The remote is a step up from Syma and has sound tones for trimming, low battery power, signal loss and has an image of a camera when shooting video.
The Camera on the CW4 has No Jello, 720 and shoots 30 frames a second. It is one of the best cameras you will get that comes with a toy quad.

Range is not fantastic, I haven't tested but I think it's around 125-150 feet. That falls short of the X5C-1 200+ foot range, but if you use it properly its ok. You could even use this as a selfie drone with the headless mode.

If you want a quad.....this is one of the best deals on here for a while (outside of the CX20 crazy deal or the deal on the Bebop2). It's better than most quad deals by a longshot. Lowest price ever. I bought this third one for resell.

Any other questions-----I'm the guy to ask, I've taken two of these apart completely.

Thank you OP. I got one as it was 93% sold out. I bought this for parts for my X5C. I've had terrible luck getting decent batteries online without paying around $7 each. The batteries and props are worth the price to me.

The CW4 500 mah batteries are very good. I got 9 minutes on the X5C-1 with indoor flying- No prop guards, no under the motor landing gears, no camera mounted. 11.5 minutes in it with a 750mah Turnigy Graphene (now those are batteries) Haven't timed with camera use yet.

Oh, those Cheerwing props...i wouldn't necessarily use those with the X5C. They will fit but they are larger heavier props. You will get more lift and thrust with them, X5C-1 will fly like a bat outta hell....but you will also descend faster because of the weight. It changes the curve of the quad. You can use them but it may put more wear on your X5C-1 motors.

#1 are the Syma transmitters compatible with this drone?

#2 Is the camera removable? if so will a Syma x5 camera fit it?

#3 Do you happen to know if any other drones motors fit this?

#4 Where do you get your parts? im coming up fairly slim pickins on ebay which is where I usually get parts.

Thanks all, picked one up via mobile app half way through a 14 mile bike trail last night. Smilie

I'm also interested in transmitter compatabiliy, any info out there? I'd love to use my IRX4 multi module with a Taranis tx.
