Is are NoKeys products legitimate? Worried about GC/s not working or being compromised.

I'm not one for trusting websites like this too often, but there's another thread here about this specific deal (just not xbox one x related) with people claiming to get their codes.

Since i used paypal, i felt it was relatively safe to order from them, so i did. $500 worth.

Took about 10-15 minutes for them to send me a message stating they needed to verify my identity. Wasn't really comfortable with this until i read that i could hide/edit out any personal detail and all they needed to do was verify name and photo on the ID and then my face as well. So i did that, and within 5 minutes, had the codes. Activated all 5 on microsoft.com and ordered the xbox one x no problem.

And yes, i realize this is my first post and may seem suspicious (though a join date of 2015), i just haven't had a reason really to post before this one since i was fairly surprised it seems to have worked out so far.

Also: (offtopic) why do i have 10 reputation...when i haven't posted before?

You're under the impression that Microsoft has anything to do with nokeys?

They asked for your name and picture, and you gave to them?
They now know your name, address, phone number, credit card number, and your face...

Except i edited out my address, id number, birthdate even expiration number (since you can kinda figure out someones birthdate in my state by the expiration number), they never had my phone number, and i didnt use a credit/debit card.

Basically, they could look at my private facebook page and get the same amount of info if my facebook page has my photo and my name on it, even with it being private...

Or, you know, since they had my name already from paypal, they could google my name and likely find more information.

After heavily editing my ID card to show nothing else other then my photo and name, if they hadn't of accepted it, i would have canceled the order.

Correct. Though again, name, e-mail and address (what paypal provides) isn't going to get anyone very far. That's literally all googleable, even a photo is googleable.

The only way to prevent that would be to erase myself (as best i can) from the internet.

You guys seem to be making a big deal out of virtually nothing. Yes, you should be cautious. No, you shouldn't give random people photos of your un-altered ID card, specifically with your birthdate and ID number showing. Hence why in my original post i stated i took out any (and all) information other then my name and a photo (both googleable)

I can google some random person, find an address for them, and a photo, and i'll have as much information as what was given.
