This is an awesome deal - was posted yesterday at $499 but now $429. These aren't just the FUEL tools - they are the even more expensive ONE-KEY models. You get 3x ONE-KEY tools, two 5.0 batteries and one 9.0 battery, plus a Packout case for $429. Amazing deal

That's a great deal, but I wish they would give you options on with different tools. I want one with a 1/2" impact, a drill, and an angle grinder.

Great price. But I agree, other tools options would be more tempting. A drill and driver are 2 of the first tools most people already have. It's the kind of deal where you'd upgrade and give your old tools to an in-law or employee.
One-Key is fine, not worth the extra expense, but makes sense at this price.
Also, I prefer the Surge driver over the One-Key.

Great deal if you don't have these tools.

Serious question. Why do all these kits now come with an impact wrench? For the 1 or 2 times a year you might rotate your tires or is there some new use for an impact wrench that I don't know about? I would rather have two saws than an impact wrench.

This doesn't come with the impact wrench. It comes with the impact driver.

What's an impact driver for? I'm only familiar with hammer drills.

Mostly for screwing screws, works better than a drill.

Easiest way to explain it is that an impact driver exerts hammer type "pounding" in a rotational force..... where a drill just spins and a hammer drill like u know hammers while spinning. Impact drivers are mostly used nowadays to screw in fasteners where not a ton of precision is needed. In other words, I wouldn't go using an impact driver to assembly furniture. People often confuse an impact drive with an impact wrench. Hope that helps

Thanks. That makes more sense.
