Ehh, if it's anything like the MU6290 or MU6300, it has too much motion blur for PC gaming or even general use IMO.

On the MU6290, you can see trails on scrolling pages, the mouse pointer, and even on text.

Not that the picture quality for the money isn't good (it's actually pretty great) but there are other options, like the cheap but great TCL S405, that are better suited to being a monitor

S405 is only avail in 43", and 40" is pushing the limits as a monitor as it is IMHO

It's in settings under expert mode, Samsung automatically had some shit interpolating program for motion. Turn it off and it becomes a great tv

Edit: per rtings, turn off auto motion plus

How is this better than the 6300 or 6290? Doesn't seem worth the extra $120

Has WGC (Wide color gamut) makes HDR stand out more with more eye popping colors than the 6300 series according to rtings

I have the 49" version of this tv. It has a beautiful picture. Was great with my Xbox One S . The Xbox One X is amazing on it. Even standard cable HD looks great.

Pretty much only 3 budget options for a 4K TV as a monitor; TCL, LG, and Samsung check rtings.com for lag input.

Yes, and here's the input lag according to Rtings.com:
4k @ 60Hz @ 4:4:4 : 19.6 ms

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/mu7000

Seems like the best 4K picture in a 40" TV at the moment.

Thanks, 19.6ms lag is not bad. Considering it. Rep

The TCL is 15" bigger, so I'm not even sure why you'd be considering this one if a 55" TV is an option.
